Copybook CheckThis is the rubric I will use to grade the students' copybooks. Please make sure that all of the worksheets are neatly attached. If you are missing an assignment, please see the attachments below. Print a new copy and complete it before class on:
Unit 6 Lessons 2 & 3: Air and Water Pollution![]() Last week we studied air pollution; this week we will learn about water pollution. We watched Bill Nye's lesson about Pollution Solutions and conducted an air pollution experiment. We also read The Wump World and made connections between their world and ours. This week we will finish our Sticky Wicket air pollution experiment and start writing short Pollution Solution stories. The Pollution Solution story must include all of the story elements:
All of the worksheets and papers are attached. These papers should all be neatly glued into students' copybooks.
Thursday is our first copybook check. Each assignment should be glued into the copybook. If students are missing worksheets, they can print another copy. Copies of all of the worksheets are attached below. All copybooks will be collected on Thursday. No exceptions.
Please see the images and attachments for details, blank worksheets, and examples. The assignment requires: 3 facts about the United Nations and definitions for all three vocabulary words. ![]()
ONE of the webs should have definitions and the OTHER web should have pictures. ![]()
There should be a few notes AND the peace sign describing one important human right. The peace sign is a bonus in 4B. Notes should be copied from the PowerPoint or summarized in simple words from the textbook. ![]()
