Early this week, we will finish our discussion of Unit 4 Lesson 1: The Study of History. In their copybooks, students should have completed:

Attention!! In addition to test corrections, students can also create a small A4 mini-poster for our bulletin board as a way to earn extra credit. All children have the right to a name and a nationality. On their worksheet, I want students to proudly announce:
On the blank lines at the bottom of the page, students should list 5 human rights and explain how these rights can be found in their own life. For example: every child has the right to an education, that's why they are studying at SAIS! Or, all children have the right to healthcare, that's they get injections and visit the doctor. Students should write in complete sentences. There is a large blank space in the middle of the page. Students should either a) attach a photograph of themselves or b) draw a picture of themselves. Wow!! There were some AWESOME scores on this first test!! Great job!! Unfortunately, I know some people forgot to study, felt rushed, or didn't realize the test was last week, so I am offering a chance to earn some BONUS points through test corrections. How to do test corrections:
This is an example of how to do test corrections. Notice how the question and answer are put together to create one new true statement. The red notations are there help you. You are not expected to make notes like this on your paper!!
The unit 1 test is this week! You should be studying from your workbook and the copybook. The answers to the workbook questions and the PowerPoint slides from class are attached below.
