Below are the videos we watched in class and some cool clips about Hannibal's war elephants!! Update!!The video questions from class are now posted below.
This week we will finish our study of the founding of Rome and the Roman Republic (Chapter 12 Lessons 1 & 2). By the end of the week, students should have completed the following assignments. I will be collecting copybooks at the end of the week.
Completing thess assignments will also help students to prepare for the quiz on Monday (6C), Tuesday (6A) or Wednesday (6AA & 6B) of next week. This quiz will cover Chapter 12 Lessons 1 & 2 and everything in this copybook so far this term. Below are videos about Romulus and Remus and the Roman Republic and the worksheets from class.
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun filled spring break. This week we began our unit on the Ancient Romans. In class, students complete a map detailing the geography of Italy. Over the weekend, I would like students to please read Chapter 12 Lesson 1: The Founding of Rome (pages 468 - 473) in the red textbook. Students should then complete the Founding of Rome worksheet in their copybook. If students can become familiar with the information at home, we will be able to do more fun and interactive activities in class, and won't have to take so many notes!! The homework is attached. Also, check out these video lectures about the Ancient Romans. These videos are a nice review of what you read in Chapter 12 Lesson 1.
